In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the information in student transcripts from private schools.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.

 

Section 34G of chapter 71 of the general laws as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition is hereby amended by shall be amended by adding after the word  “transcript” at the end of line 18, the following words:-

 

“If transferring from another school or graduating from high school, a student’s transcript shall include the number of times the student was suspended, number of times the student has made an infraction of the rules, and the number of times the student has been truant.”
