In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act to encourage tomorrow's teachers.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Section 19D of chapter 15A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following paragraph:

               

Temporary substitute teaching in a public school in the Commonwealth shall be deemed satisfactory to meet the obligations on the participants in the program pursuant to subsections (1) and (3) of this section.

 

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect immediately and shall be retroactive to January 1, 2003.
