In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the expulsion of students in the public schools.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 37H½ of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1994 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the last paragraph and inserting in place thereof the following paragraph:—
Upon expulsion of such student, the school or school district shall be required to provide educational services to such student.
