 An Act providing for teacher evaluation by parents and pupils.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Chapter 71 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 42D:—
Section 42E. The department of education is hereby authorized and directed to establish a program of teacher evaluation by parents and pupils. Evaluation criteria shall be established and forms developed. Such forms shall be made available to each school district. Each school district shall annually distribute such forms to the parents or guardians of each pupil in the school district and to all high school pupils in this district for completion and return
to the school district.
