An Act Eliminating the use of MCAS as a high school graduation requirement. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section
1D of chapter 69 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official
Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “graduation” ,in line
59, the following words:—
; provided, however, that the MCAS test, so-called, or other state-developed,
standardized test, shall not be a component of the competency determination.
