An Act relative to presumptive eligibility for personal care attendant services. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 9 of Chapter 118E of the General Laws, as amended by Chapter 211 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by inserting, after the words “long-term care needs of the individuals,” the following:-
The division is hereby authorized to grant presumptive eligibility for up to 60 days to a person applying for long term care in said program only for the purposes of providing personal care attendant services for the individual.
