In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapters 50 through 57 inclusive of the General Laws are hereby amended by substituting the words “independent voter” for the phrase “unenrolled voter” wherever the phrase “unenrolled voter” appears.
SECTION 2. The phrase “unenrolled voter” shall be changed to “independent voter” wherever it appears in the regulations promulgated pursuant to Chapters 50 through 57 of the General Laws.
