An Act relative to proof of identification for voters.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 76 of chapter 54 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words “his name and” in line 1, the following words:- a photo identification, as issued by the registry of motor vehicles, and,
