In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act Requiring Voters To Furnish Identification.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 50 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:—

 

Section 9. All persons voting at a primary or election shall produce valid proof of their identity before so voting.
