 An Act relative to the delivery of absentee ballots. .

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Chapter 54 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 87 the following new section:-

 

Section 87A. Postage costs associated with the mailing of absentee ballots to the clerk of the municipality in which the voter is a qualified elector, shall be marked postage prepaid, and shall be appropriated in the same manner as all other election costs.
