 An Act reducing the age of eligibility for senior citizen real estate tax exemptions to age sixty five.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Clause forty-one of section 5 of chapter 59 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition is hereby further amended by striking out in the first sentence wherever appearing, the word “seventy” and inserting in place thereof the word “sixty-five”.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
