In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to the protection of private wells.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule and regulation to the contrary, no permit or approval shall be given by a local authority for the construction and installation of any structure or road within 50 feet of a private well.
