In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the Division of Urban Parks and Recreation.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

The 4th paragraph of section 1 of chapter 21 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following 3 sentences:-

 

The division of urban parks and recreation shall retain all revenues generated by parks, beaches and recreational facilities under their jurisdiction for their own purposes.  60 percent of the funds generated at a facility shall be used for said faculty and 40 percent shall go to the division’s general fund.  All licensing fees generated by the division shall go to the division’s general fund.
