 An Act relative to land bordering on water or wetlands.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Section 40 of chapter 131 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the word “elapsed” in line 14, the following words:- , provided however, that no person shall be prevented from adding to an existing structure on a 1 or 2 unit owner occupied property bordering water or wetlands, including within 100 feet as long as the addition is built in a direction parallel to or away from the water line, water or wetlands
