In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act establishing a trust fund within the department of conservation and recreation for the planting of trees.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.

The department of conservation and recreation is hereby authorized to establish a trust fund for the planting and maintaining of trees in parks, recreational areas, sports fields, rinks, pools, along highways, reservations, and other facilities and properties within the jurisdiction of said commission. Said commission may expend such sums as may be appropriated therefore.
