 An Act to prohibit insurance surcharges for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection certificate.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 113B of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “thereof” in line 156 the following:—
provided, however, for the purposes of the paragraph operating a motor vehicle without a certificate of inspection shall not be deemed to be a moving violation.
