In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to automobile insurance rates.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any law or regulation to the contrary, automobile insurance rates established by the commissioner of insurance shall be effective for all automobile insurance policies on January 1 of the calendar year for which the rates are in effect.
