An Act relative to group auto discounts on surcharges under the safe driver insurance plan. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The fourth paragraph of Section 193R of chapter 175, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by the following: - and (10) that no discount, provided pursuant to any group marketing plan, shall be applicable to any explicit surcharge resulting from the operation of the Safe Driver Insurance Plan , established pursuant to section 113B.
Section 2. The provisions of section one of this act shall apply to any policy issued to renewed on or after July 31, 2005.
