An Act relative to promoting supplemental insurance coverage. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision (2) of section 108 of chapter 175 of the General Laws, as amended by Section 3 of Ch. 450 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by striking out the words “, excluding contracts which provide stand-alone dental services” and inserting in place thereof the following words:– , excluding supplemental insurance which does not qualify as creditable coverage pursuant to ch. 111M,
SECTION 2. Section O of section 110 of the General Laws, as amended by Section 4 of Ch. 450 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by striking out the words “, except policies or certificates which provide stand-alone dental services” and inserting in place thereof the following words: – , except supplemental insurance which does not qualify as creditable coverage pursuant to ch. 111M,
SECTION 3. Section P of section 110 of the General Laws, as amended by Section 5 of Ch. 450 of the Acts of 2006, is hereby amended by striking out the words “stand-alone dental services or” and inserting in place thereof the following words:– supplemental insurance benefits which do not qualify as creditable coverage pursuant to ch. 111M or
