An Act relative to protect homeowner's insurance from unfair cancellation.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 3, subsection 9 of chapter 176D of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof a new subparagraph:-

            (o) Cancellation or failure to renew a homeowner’s insurance policy that has been in place for no less that five years with two or fewer claims or no less that ten years with three or fewer claims.
