An Act relative to preventing discrimination against certain health care providers. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 15(i) of Chapter 1760 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, shall be amended by inserting the following sentence at the end thereof::-
“If any carrier, including a dental or vision carrier, offers health care, dental care, or vision care benefits, said carrier shall contract with health care professionals, dental professionals and vision care professionals in a manner which will provide an equal proportion of representation of each duly licensed provider type regardless of geographic location.”
