In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act authorizing the Sheriff's Department of Plymouth County to operate a C Med system.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the sheriff’s department of Plymouth county is hereby authorized to maintain and operate the Plymouth county communications medical dispatch system. There shall be a C-Med advisory committee consisting of representatives from said sheriff’s department, the Plymouth county fire chief’s association and those area hospitals using said system. Said sheriff’s department is hereby authorized to set fees for the hospitals using said system.
