 An Act relative to health education.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Subsection (a) of section 6B of chapter 29 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first paragraph the following  paragraph: -

 

Notwithstanding the provision of any general or special law to the contrary, no state agency or political subdivision of the commonwealth shall apply for any federal grant for abstinence education, so called, under section 501 of Title V of the Social Security Act, Title 42, United States Code, or under any other federal grant program for abstinence education.
