In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act prohibiting the use of alcoholic beverages at state colleges and universities.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   SECTION 1.  Section 1 of chapter 73 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:–

     The board of trustees of the state colleges shall adopt rules and regulations prohibiting the possession or use of alcoholic beverages by students on campus.  Said regulations shall provide that any student deemed to physically or psychologically impair due to alcohol presumption, whether such impairment occurs on or off campus shall be subject to expulsion.

   SECTION 2.  Section 1A of chapter 75 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:–
