 An Act relative to furnishing false name, social security or adress to a police officer when stopped or detained.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

                        Section 34A of chapter 268 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 2 and 3, the words “to a law enforcement officer or law enforcement official following an arrest” and inserting in place thereof the following words:— , or address, to a police officer when stopped or detained for a violation of a general law, statute, ordinance, by-law or rule or regulation, can be arrested and.
