An Act relative to small claims procedures.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 21 of Chapter 218, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 3 by striking the words “two thousand dollars”, and inserting in place thereof:— “five thousand dollars”.

Section 22 of Chapter 218, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 3 by striking the words “first class mail”, and inserting in place thereof: — “registered mail with a return receipt”.
