 An Act relative to the classification of clerk magistrates and clerks of court.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Subsection (2)(g) of section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “hospital”, in line 266, the following words:— employees of the Supreme Judicial Court who hold the position of Clerk of Court or Assistant Clerk of Court; employees of the Appeals court who hold the position of Clerk of Court or Assistant Clerk of Court; employees of the Trial Court of the Commonwealth who hold the position of Clerk-Magistrate, Assistant Clerk-Magistrate, Clerk of Court, Assistant Clerk of Court, Recorder, Deputy Recorder, Registrar, Assistant Register.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
