An Act relative to penalties for defacement of public property. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 126 of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended in line 9 by striking out the words, “ten nor more than one hundred dollars” and inserting in place thereof the words:--
“fifty nor more than fifteen hundred dollars or by imprisonment in a house of correction for not more than two years or combination thereof.”
