In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 178F1/2 of Chapter 6 of The General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:
“A sex offender finally classified by the Board as a level 2 or 3 sex offender who is required to register pursuant to sections 178C to 178P, inclusive, who subsequent to said registration, is subjected to short term incarceration, shall remain registered under the category of “currently incarcerated”.
