In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

——————

 

 An Act relative to the establishment of a retained revenue account in the civil process division of the Middlesex sheriff's office.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.

               

                    The Civil Process Division of the Middlesex Sheriff's Office shall have a retained revenue account established upon the books of the Treasurer of the Commonwealth within the Massachusetts Management Accounting and Reporting System, whereupon all receipts, fees, and revenues as collected by the Civil Process Division during the delivery of such services shall be deposited within said account shall be retained and expended to meet the operational costs associated with the Civil Process Division; furthermore, that all expenses associated with the operation of the Civil Process Division shall be paid from said retained revenue account and shall be in conformance with existing expenditure classification regulations; in addition, said account shall be managed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and shall comply with all relevant provisions as stipulated under
MGL Chapter 29.
