In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the
2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section after
section 91C:—
Section 91D. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to
the contrary, any and every public pension retirement administrator in the
commonwealth shall require a criminal offender record information check of any
applicant. Any applicant whose criminal offender record information check
reveals a criminal conviction for which a pension is denied by state or federal
law shall not be granted a retirement pension.
