Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 209A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the fifth paragraph the following paragraph:-
(e) ordering the possession, care and control of any animal owned, possessed, leased, kept, or held as a pet by either party or a minor child residing in the household to the plaintiff;
