In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the punishment for the defacement of property.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Section 126A of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the word “three” in line 6 and inserting in place thereof the figure:–  10

 

SECTION 2. Section 126B of said chapter 266 as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “imprisonment” in line 9 of the following:–  in a state prison for a term of not more than 10 years or
