An Act to authorize EOPS to promulgate regulations for a statewide automated victim notification system.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Section 18 3/4 of chapter 6A, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following clause:-

(9)  to adopt regulations relative to the issuance of uniform statewide automated victim assistance notification system.  Such regulations shall include, but not be limited to, provisions requiring that the department of corrections in conjunction with county law enforcement agencies work collaboratively t offer victims of crime accurate court information about offenders.
