An Act To raise the dollar limit of claims filed in small claims court.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 21 of chapter 218 is hereby amended in line 6 by striking the words “two thousand dollars” and inserting in place thereof:–

                         five thousand dollars.
