An Act to allow inmate work programs to benefit certain nonprofit institutions. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section 49C of chapter 127 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following new sentence:- Said prisoners may also be eligible to provide services for duly registered non-profit institutions located within the county.;- and is hereby further amended in the last sentence by adding after the word, "persons", the following new clause:- …”unless said person is a duly registered non-profit institution located within the county.”
