An Act making an appropriation for energy efficiency in municipal buildings. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 45 of the acts of 2005 is hereby amended by inserting after item 7000-0090 the following item:-
7006-0100 For a loan program, to assist cities and towns in installing energy efficient systems in public buildings, both existing and to be constructed, provided however, that the loan program authorized herein shall be administered by the department of telecommunications and energy, provided further, that the department of telecommunications and energy shall promulgate rules and regulations, similar but not limited to those utilized by the Title V program, for said loan program on or before January 1, 2008.
