An Act to provide a right to file a civil action remedy for the commission of prohibited labor practices by the Commonwealth or its political subdivisions .

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 11 of Chapter 150E of the general laws is hereby amended by adding after the fourth paragraph a new paragraph as follows:

In lieu of filing a complaint of prohibited practice under this section, an exclusive representative may file a civil action in the Superior Court for the county within which such prohibited practice is alleged to have occurred.
