In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to exempting summer camps from the state minimum wage laws.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Section 1A of chapter 151 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 59, by striking out the following words:—

operated by a non-profit charitable corporation.

 

SECTION 2. Section 2 of said chapter 151, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 29 and 30, the words “or work by members of religious orders” and inserting in place thereof the following:—

work by members of religious orders, or for-profit and not-for-profit summer camps.
