In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the mental health commission for children.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The term of the mental health commission for children, established by section 77 of chapter 177 of the acts of 2001 shall be extended until December 31, 2008, for the purpose of advising commissioner of mental health on implementation of the recommendations contained in the commission’s report dated July 1, 2005.  The commission shall prepare and issue a public report concerning the implementation of such recommendations, on an annual basis, and shall file a copy of such report with the senate and house committees on ways and means, the committee on mental health and substance abuse, the mental health legislative caucus, and the children’s legislative caucus.
