An Act relative to the appointment of retired police officers in the town of Stoneham.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter 160 of the acts of 2002 is hereby amended by striking out section 8 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

Section 8.  Appointment as a special police officer shall not entitle any individual appointed as such to assignment to any detail.
