 An Act further regulating zoning ordinances.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The second paragraph of section 5 of chapter 40A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the sixth and seventh sentences and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:--- No zoning ordinance, by-law or amendment shall be adopted or changed unless notice of a hearing is hereby given to the property owner by return receipt request certified registered mail 30 day prior to the public hearing of said proposed zoning ordinance, by-law or amendment.
