An Act relative to the joint operations of governmental units.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section 4A of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following sentences:—
Any such agreement may specifically authorize the sharing of revenues by one governmental unit with another; provided, however, that such agreement for the sharing of revenues shall be approved by the department of revenue in consultation with the department of housing and community development
