 An Act relative to the powers and duties of cities and towns.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1: The second paragraph of section 22A of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence, the following sentence :-

Cities and towns may adopt ordinances, by-laws, orders, rules or regulations prohibiting the dumping of snow, debris or other materials in such restricted areas.
