An Act authorizing the town of Franklin to grant an additional liquor license for the sale of wine and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of G.L. Chapter 138, Section 17, the Franklin Town Council, may grant one additional license for the sale of wine and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises under G.L. Chapter 138, Section 15 said license to be subject to all other provisions of G.L. Chapter 138 except Section 17. Said license to be located at Lincoln Street Market, 455 Lincoln Street, Franklin, MA 02038.
SECTION 2. The issuance of said license shall be within the sound discretion of the Franklin Town Council, as it shall determine to be in the town’s best interests.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
