In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the transporting of persons in wheelchairs.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 7CC the following section:—
Section 7DD. In any vehicle transporting persons in wheelchairs, the wheelchairs shall be facing forward. Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of $100.
