In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to student use of tobacco products.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Section 2A of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “hours.” in line 3 the following words:--

                A student found to have violated this provision may be punished by a fine of not more than $50.00 for the first violation, $150.00 for the second violation, and $300.00 for each violation thereafter.
