In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the shortage of Registered Nurses.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1 Section 74 of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the tercentennial edition, is hereby amended by

 

adding a new second paragraph as follows:

 

 

Any person who has been certified under the provisions of Chapter 111c, Section 9, as an EMT-Paramedic, for a period of at least two years, and has earned a degree of Bachelor of Science from a duly accredited College or University, as if they had graduated from an approved school of nurses.
