Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter
111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby
amended by inserting at the end of section 204 the following :
(f) The provisions of this section shall apply to any individual or group that
forms a committee to perform the duties of a medical peer review committee,
notwithstanding the fact that the formation of the committee is not required by
law or regulation or that the individual or group is not affiliated with a
public hospital or licensed hospital or nursing home or health maintenance
organization.
