An Act relative to the signing of death certificates.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 9 of chapter 46 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1996 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “administrator”, in line 5, the following:— or, if the death occurred in a nursing home as defined in section 108 of chapter 112, the medical director of the nursing home.
